LEVENBANK SINGLE MALT
Our signature single malt whiskies will be delivered through a carefully selected blend of our three principal washes, namely Laureate, Brewmaster and Peated. Our initial plans are for a five year old and ten year old release with some individually finished single cask options available from time to time.

Our use of a variety of barleys and yeast strains, time and temperature controlled fermentation times and the superior copper contact our smaller stills deliver will allow to to create some of the most exciting new releases in scotch whisky.
THE WASH
Our three principal washes that will contribute to our signature malts but also stand up on their own for single cask bottlings are
​
Laureate - Our pale ale malt sourced locally and provided by Crisp Maltings and fermented using an ale yeast creating a hugely fruit forward flavour.
Brewmaster - This is our blend of pale ale, crystal and brown malts to create a more robust coffee and chocolate flavoured wash.
Peated - A combination of pale ale and peated malt to deliver a peated wash with big smoky and toasted flavour and aroma
NEW MAKE
A combination of our flavour forward washes and our smaller 1250 litre wash still and 950 litre spirit still providing greater copper contact allowing for cleaner yet hugely flavoursome spirits.

We will also look to triple distill in homage to the traditional lowland style. These triple distilled spirits will be released in limited numbers
WOOD POLICY
A variety of casks will be used over the years including individual finishes for limited single cask releases.

We have carefully selected a cask to work with our three unique new make spirits.
Laureate - Partners with 1st Fill Bourbon Casks
Brewmaster - Works with Oloroso Casks
Peated - Will mature in ex bourbon casks

Maturation will be in-house to ensure we can keep an eye on our spirit as it matures away.
BOTTLING
Bottling will be carried out in-house with products non chill filtered and no added colourings.

Our bespoke bottle was designed to reflect not just the huge part that time plays in the production of whisky, but also to the previous occupants of our distillery who for generations were the creators of time with their clockworks and quartz technology.
